For the second year in a row, team HSSS.tv hit up the annual MARYAH (Metro Area Realtors for Young Adult Housing) Poker Tournament Fundraiser to benefit the San Diego LGBT Community Center’s Sunburst youth housing project for homeless LGBTQ youth. From our own ‘interior illusions lounge’ inside Eden nightclub, the host location for this year’s event, Aaron & Ophelia chatted about their weekends, Car2Go – or as Ophelia calls it Car2Bar – some ruckus near the Lakeside Rodeo Grounds, more San Diego Pride cray and the return of Jeff S., who’s in town for a visit & a cocktail or four. Then we turned our cameras & mics to the wonderful ladies and gents making the event a success, including Co-Chair Mike Paganelli, The Center’s Major Gifts Officer Christopher Mills, realtor extraordinaire Richard Woods, They Said & Dining Out For Life’s Ian Johnson and several other card players ready to double down, all for a good cause…and an iPad! Thanks to all who came out & supported this vital community resource and congratulations to the tournament winners! Read More
