LIVE from Urban Mo’s 1/4/13

January 4, 2013  |  Episodes, gay san diego, News  |  No Comments

We’re baaaaaack! Our first show of 2013 at the Urban Mo’s Copa Bar studio was a riot…and literally all over the map. Aaron & Ophelia hadn’t seen each other in almost a month, so there was much to catch up on. From NYE parties & event appearances, to straight friends & gay bars, to New Year’s Intentions (not resolutions,) to people pissing us off on Facebook, to the launch of our sister show out of Denver, WeSaid.tv. Then, Clark Kent joined us for what turned out to be the most incomprehensible interview we’ve ever done. Thanks to Gouda for saving the day to show us a sneak peak of the logo concepts for DJ Shane Stiel’s new charity venture “Hearts from Hillcrest.” This is a pretty good LYAO episode. Trust we’ve got some more good stuff coming to you in the new year. Cheers!  Read More

Birthday Boy, Production Assistant Nicolas, helmed the camera this week at our Urban Mo’s Copa Bar studio…and kept quiet about his big day until after it was all over! Ophelia & Aaron recapped a jam packed weekend of charity events, awards celebrations, Mayoral inaugurations & the swearing in of San Diego’s newest City Council President, Todd Gloria. Then, we delved into some happenings going on at San Diego Pride, fall TV season shows we’re watching and giving back during the holidays. QUESTION: Should San Diego Pride be renamed America’s Pride? This week, Aaron, Ophelia & Producer Jay hit the Urban Mo’s Copa Bar studio with La Lee, Trent & Nicolas on set to help out & have some laughs. Then, we were joined by the sexy power couple Anthony Rollar & Glitz Glam to give us all the insider deets on this Sunday’s 3rd Annual Meatball Turkey Day event to benefit The Center‘s youth and senior services, co-hosted this year by our own Ms O. With Ophelia distracted by Anthony’s hotness, Glitz & Aaron talked about how the event has grown over the years and what they have in store this year!  Read More
