Aaron & Ophelia recapped Miss O’s big birthday extravaganza before moving on to talk shop about the passing of the Disco Diva, colliding Navy ships, the pending return of several San Diego seamen (including our BFF Trent,) San Diego’s American Idol finalist Jessica Sanchez, HSSS.tv friend & KTLA reporter Doug Kolk, Manny Pacquiao, Harvey Milk Day, Harvey Milk Street, some fun things happening with AIDS Walk this year, flag football events + so much more. Back at the omazing Brass Rail studio, They Said’s Ian, Amber, Alejandra & Dustin welcomed special guest Cristina Monet to the “straight” gurl hot seat. After catching up on weekly activities & birthdays, the panel talked about President Obama’s support of same-sex marriage, the controversy surrounding Time Magazine’s breastfeeding mom cover, John Travolta’s gay sexual harassment woes, North Carolina’s vote to ban same-sex marriage and the Hillcrest Pride Flag. Producers Aaron & Joey asked the hosts if they would commit perjury in court for a close friend and got some answers that were all over the map. Ian wrapped up with some event highlights including Coco Peru at Martinis Above Fourth, Harvey Milk Street unveiling, the Harvey Milk Diversity Breakfast and more.
