The hunkalicious fixture in the DJ booth at Urban Mo’s, Taj Al-Taji aka DJ Taj, joined Aaron & Ophelia at the Brass Rail square table to chat about his life, career and new love. Taj has been working the DJ circuit in San Diego’s nightclub scene for more than a decade, spinning everywhere from Numbers and the old Club Montage, to big gigs & special events at places like the Hard Rock Hotel and House of Blues. When he’s not behind the mixing board, he moonlights as a sassy server slinging plates & smiles at Hillcrest hot spot, Mo’s. Get to know this genuine, funny, talented gentleman whose “personality” is, as Ophelia says, “omazing.”

This week’s They Said had quite a crowd at our Brass Rail studio, and with so much to talk about, it’s good that the crew had some audience feedback and participation. Courtney, Ian, Kelly, Jerimiah & Alejandra had some big topics to dive into, including relationships, dating, sex while dating, the new Steve Jobs biography, Martha Stewart’s daughter Alexis and her new book called Whateverland and what makes San Diego the luckiest city in America. Then, Producer Kurt posed a good question who do you go to for advice, that got some rather interesting responses from the panel. Finally, Ian wrapped up with some big upcoming events and holiday happenings post-Halloween happening all over the city.
