We hit our
Urban Mo’s Copa Bar studio on time this week, and
Aaron &
Ophelia got down to business right out the gate. With much going on in the headlines, we dove right in talking about the recent rash of
mass shootings,
gun violence and our thoughts on the
gun control debate. We moved on to one of our favorite topics: stereotypes, this time focusing on the
“twink” label…and let’s just say, Ophelia was not impressed. With some recent incidents at area nightclubs where people’s drinks are being drugged, we discussed ways to safeguard yourself & your cocktail when clubbing. Finally, we gave some shout outs to HSSS’s own
Chef Says,
La Lee, who turns 40, our favorite Seaman
Trent whose big Navy retirement ceremony is in two weeks at the
LGBT Center & a couple of fab new web shows we’re keeping our eyes on,
www.wesaid.tv and
A Gay Agenda on
YouTube.

The first episode of 2013 at our
Brass Rail studio after a month hiatus had
Alejandra,
Ian,
Courtney &
Dustin talking all kinds of
S-E-X. From making love, to positions, to things that get you in the mood, clearly these were some horny castmates just needing a little release. They found some time to talk about New Year’s Goals/Resolutions and a few news items, but for some reason, it all came back to the sexytime. Who was your most inspirational person of 2012? Producer Aaron asked the question – find out what
They Said.

We’re baaaaaack! Our first show of 2013 at the Urban Mo’s Copa Bar studio was a riot…and literally all over the map. Aaron & Ophelia hadn’t seen each other in almost a month, so there was much to catch up on. From NYE parties & event appearances, to straight friends & gay bars, to New Year’s Intentions (not resolutions,) to people pissing us off on Facebook, to the launch of our sister show out of Denver, WeSaid.tv. Then, Clark Kent joined us for what turned out to be the most incomprehensible interview we’ve ever done. Thanks to Gouda for saving the day to show us a sneak peak of the logo concepts for DJ Shane Stiel’s new charity venture “Hearts from Hillcrest.” This is a pretty good LYAO episode. Trust we’ve got some more good stuff coming to you in the new year. Cheers! Read More
