We can’t believe it. Two years doing this lil ole talk show…and we’re still trucking along. This week’s HSSS.tv LIVE from our Urban Mo’s Copa Bar studio had a quite a few laughs, shots, snarks, sarcasms, more shots and a few fireworks! After Aaron & Ophelia recapped their Oscar party weekend, they dished on all the TV shows they’ve been keeping up on like Southland, Spartacus, American Idol, Revenge, Top Chef + more & some new one’s starting like Good Christian Bitches and ‘Sex & The City’ prequel, The Carrie Diaries. Then, the conversation went from fun to feisty with a fairly heated back ‘n forth about children’s behavior, bullying, discipline & parental responsibility, which then morphed into a discussion about news bias, shotty reporting and Sheriff Paul Babeu. It was quite a “he said, she said” exchange. After we hugged it out – and shoved some fingers in mouths – we thanked viewers & fans & bartenders & bodyguards, etc. San Diegans, don’t forget to head over to Eden on March 8 for MARYAH’s Annual Poker Tournament Fundraiser to benefit the LGBT Community Center’s Sunburst youth housing project. HSSS.tv will be there, filming LIVE…and whipping some ass on the card tables.   Read More

After missing last week, Aaron & Ophelia hit the Copa Bar studio at Urban Mo’s in Hillcrest to get caught up on all things ‘gay’ and ‘gab-worthy.’ Trying to recount this week’s drunken bead-bomb that was Mardi Gras, Ophelia finally admitted she’s no spring chicken but held her own out partying with the rest of the young queens. The discussion went all over the place, from San Diego’s mayoral candidates and taking a Car2Go to Coronation to local community member Allan Spyere‘s release from INS detention, the ongoing Fawkbook changes and this weekend’s BIG Oscar party extravaganza eleganzas. We’re excited about several upcoming events that we’ll be going LIVE at, including MARYAH’s annual Poker Tournament at Eden and, of course, Dining Out For Life. Come April 26, where will you be dining out to fight AIDS?  Read More
