There was a “glaucoma” outbreak on the set of They Said and Jerimiah & Courtney had to take their “medicine.” Once the after-effects took hold, the crew hit the square table for quite a lively chat about about all the news & hot topics fit to dish, including the Occupy San Diego movement, the Clinton Foundation concert featuring Lady Gaga, the Real Housewives of New Jersey debacle, Guiliana Rancic’s breast cancer admission, the MLK Jr. sculpture dedication in Washington D.C. and, of course, the medical marijuana activist who threatened to jump off a bridge in San Diego…tying up traffic in Hillcrest for eight hours. Jerimiah & Courtney remained calm, cool, collected – and a little sleepy-eyed – while Ian talked all about the “new” Martinis Above Fourth, Alejandra dished all about the Catholic church and Kelly coveted her new iPhone 4S. The crew braved our Copa Bar studio at Urban Mo‘s sans Producer Joey who’s been busy with work to chat up this week’s hot topics & shit that makes us go “hmmmm!” After a quick interruption (and shot) with the fabulous Gouda, Aaron & Ophelia talked about big weekend highlights that included all the men & women in San Diego for the AFCSL Autumn Classic softball tournament…and the fun that ensued at the bars each night the players were in town. Then, discussing the new OWN show Oprah’s Lifeclass, we talked about “ego” and how we think we’ve let our egos get the best of us. After putting our egos in check, we talked about the Occupy Wall Street and Occupy San Diego movements and the horrible mass murder in the Seal Beach hair salon, which certainly put Miss Ophelia on guard at her “day job” hoping none of her clients had angry exes.
