First, they put some rumors to bed about last week’s Nicky Awards discussion, then they talked some more about Water Fightgate & the Lily Pond reconstruction efforts, STDs, inspirational celebrities, upcoming events to benefit AIDS Walk San Diego, ‘outing’ people as trans and the sad passing of Phyllis DillerRead More

Poor Ophelia was having a bit of a make-up crisis in the midst of the heat wave, so Aaron started this week’s show at our Urban Mo’s Copa Bar studio with the birthday boy himself, Producer Jay. We recapped our fun CityFest weekend, congratulated the new Stonewall Citizens Patrol Board of Directors and then spent some time dissecting this week’s BIG scandal: Water Fightgate & the Balboa Park Lily Pond vandalism. Then, Aaron got some exclusive details about San Diego American Flag Football League’s new 2013 calendar, SCORE, from the hunkalicious John Proctor, Russ Edra and league photographer Tom Weigand who gave us a little behind-the-scenes info on the calendar photo shoot, the Gay Bowl and the upcoming 2013 football season. SWAG ALERT: first two (2) people to comment on this webisode below (on the HSSS.tv site) will receive one of these limited edition calendars, compliments of He Said / sHe Said & SDAFFL!  Read More

The Brass Rail studio was hot, hot, hot…in temperature. With the A/C blowing in the background, Executive Producer Ophelia joined Dustin, Alejandra & Amber at the roundtable while Ian “recuperated” from a sudden post-CityFest illness. Speaking of CityFest, the crew recapped all the Pride Lite shenanigans including beer gardens, furry dancers & dunk tank action. They also talked nude sunbathing, gay Olympians, the Balboa Park Lily Pond vandalism, flying the American flag on the Hillcrest Pride Flag pole and veteran amputees. AIDS Walk is right around the corner (September 30) – please sign-up, donate & help fight HIV/AIDS! Until there’s a cure, we’ll keep walking.  Read More
