Aaron & Ophelia grabbed a cocktail beverage courtesy of our hot Brass Rail bartender, Justin, and sat down for a chat with three actors from the San Diego Gay Men’s Chorus upcoming performance of Friend Me featuring Through A Glass, Darkly. Making its West Coast premiere on Saturday & Sunday, April 9 & 10, the edgy, powerful Through A Glass Darkly will be performed by SDGMC as the second act of its Spring concert, Friend Me, at the Jewish Community Center’s David & Dorthea Garfield Theater in La Jolla. Our guests Caleb, Henry, and Steven play Sebastian, Zach & Billy, three young men in NYC who find themselves caught in a twisted downward spiral of love, sex, lies & meth addiction. It follows Friend Me, a concert of several contemporary songs that touch on many of the themes that reappear in Through A Glass, Darkly including selections from Amy Winehouse, Coldplay, Jason Mraz and Destiny’s Child. Tickets are available online for $25-$40 (Saturday evening performance) or $21-$35 (Sunday matinee.) Half-price tickets are available through sdartstix.com and goldstar.com.

  1. This will make me sound horrible, but I was actually more interested in watching Aaron’s legs shuffle under the table than listening to the guests.
