Yep, you read that right! We made primetime TV, baby. Remember back about six months ago you heard us rambling on & on about filming with the Bump! crew from LOGO? Well, the show finally premiered nationwide on Wednesday, March 9, and we’re happy to share it here with you now…you know, just in case you forgot to set your DVRs. Bump – the ultimate gay travel companion – is the world’s first LGBT travel and lifestyle television series presenting new, gay-friendly destinations in each episode with a stylish, fun & upbeat twist. The show airs internationally on OutTV, LOGO, Here and others. San Diego was the featured destination in episode 5 of the series’ 5th season. So, they’ve been around and know exactly how to have fun no matter where in the world they go.
Aaron & Ophelia (along with Producers Bo and Joey, Creative Director Leo and Bodygaurd John) got to hang out with series host Charlie David and the entire Bump crew to chat about all things gay San Diego – from bears, beaches & bars to shopping, dining and, of course, Military men (Ophelia’s favorite.) Many Hillcrest businesses, including Urban Mo’s, Gossip Grill, Barry’s Bootcamp, R Gang Eatery, Park Manor Suites and others were highlighted in the episode.
If you haven’t seen the episode in its entirety, sit back and have a look-see. You may just see your face somewhere there in the crowd. Thanks to LOGO and Bump for giving America’s Finest City some big gay props!
